The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. It provides direct teaching of English, administration of UK exams, advice about UK education and works on joint projects with Qatari partners in the Arts, Education, English Language and Science.

The British Council's primary aim is to build mutually beneficial relationships between Qatar and the UK and to increase appreciation of the UK’s ideas and achievements.
