Help for British Nationals
The British Consul in Doha and her staff are here to look after the interests of British nationals. Public opening hours for the Consular section are from Sunday to Thursday 0800hrs to 1300hrs, except embassy holidays. In case of emergencies, such as arrest, serious illness, accident or death outside of working hours please call +974 587 6813 and ask for the duty officer. You can also view this page for more information on contact details.
These pages will give you information about registering a birth or death, procedures required for getting married here in Qatar, registering your presence with the Embassy if you are a resident or visitor, and our notarial services. We also explain what we can do for you, as well as some things that we cannot do. We include some contacts who may be able to help with problems where we cannot.
