Visit of Defence Secretary
29 June 2009
On 29 June the Rt Hon Bob Ainsworth MP, Secretary of State for Defence, visited Qatar. He paid official calls on HH The Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah.
Doha Independent Secondary School’s visit to the British Embassy

The British Embassy hosted on 17 June a group of students from the Doha Independent Secondary School for boys. The visiting group represented a newly formed 'Friends of the UK' club at the school.
